Insurance Accounting Expert

(Investment Accounting)

We are looking for an insurance expert with solid experience in investment accounting to join the team of our Insurance client, based in Paris.

Roles and expected deliverables: 

• Manage investment accounting in accordance with French (French) and international (IFRS) standards.
• Perform in-depth analyzes of financial data relating to investments.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of accounting data.
• Contribute to the development of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in risk assessment and the implementation of effective investment strategies.
• Participate in the analysis and identification of process improvement opportunities.

Skills sought 

• University degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Proven expertise in the insurance field, with a deep understanding of products and operations.
• Mastery of French and international accounting standards (IFRS) relating to investments.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in similar roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
