Project Manager / Data Business Analyst – Asset Repositories

Duration: Minimum 4 months | Start date: October 15, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

As part of a project to implement asset data repositories Within a major player in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Project Manager / Data Business Analyst possessing a good understanding of investment data and associated Data Management issues.

Context

You will be involved in defining target processes and reference data, as well as designing investment-related reporting.

Roles and responsibilities

Reference Data & Data

• Facilitate workshops with the various stakeholders;
• To carry out a Gap Analysis between the existing situation and the target needs;
• Gather and formalize the data requirements for assets and investments;
• Identify the necessary data as well as the different Data Providers ;
• Define the processes for managing overloads and data history;
• Define the processes and controls of Data Quality ;
• Design the target data management processes;
• Participate in defining the data governance and associated responsibilities;
• Produce the functional deliverables and documentation for the project.

Reporting

• Gather and formalize reporting requirements;
• Identify the source data and the transformed or calculated data required for the target reports;
• Define the formats and structures of the reports;
• Formalize the associated management rules;
• Design reports that meet the needs of the teams Investments, Risks and ESG ;
• Participate in the design and development of target reports.

Skills & profile sought

You have significant experience in Project management / Business Analysis Dataideally in the insurance, asset management or financial services sector.

You have skills in:

• THE investment and asset data and their reference frames;
• Data management, quality, reliability and governance;
• Data chains related to assets and investments;
• SimCorp Dimension (SCD) ;
• The design of target processes and data models;
• The design and formalization of financial reports;
• The accounting and regulatory issues related to investments, in particular French GAAP, IFRS 9 and Solvency II ;
• The problems ESG applied to financial investments.

You are able toto lead vocational workshops, to gather and challenge requirements, then translate them into structured processes, management rules and functional deliverables.

Your ability to work collaboratively across teams Investments, Finance, Risk, Data and ESG will be essential for this mission.
