Accounting Reference Data Manager for Investments

Duration: Minimum 4 months | Start date: October 15, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

As part of a team expansion within a major player in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Accounting Reference Data Manager for Investments possessing a good knowledge of investment data and associated benchmarks.

Context

You will be involved in the management, quality and reliability of data relating to financial assets, in an environment subject to significant accounting and regulatory challenges.

Roles and responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, in particular, the following activities:

• Manage and administer the repositories relating to financial placements and investments;
• Control the quality, consistency and completeness of investment data;
• Participate in data reliability and governance;
• Analyze and address any anomalies affecting data and reference data;
• Contribute to the smooth flow of data within the various chains related to assets and investments;
• Take into account the accounting and regulatory requirements associated with investment data;
• Participate in monitoring the data required for various reports, including accounting, regulatory and ESG reports.

Skills & profile sought

You have at least 3 years of experience on issues related to investment data, financial investments or benchmarks in the financial sector, ideally in insurance.

You have skills in:

• THE Investment/placement data and their reference frames;
• Administrative management, data quality and reliability;
• The principles of Data Governance applied to financial data;
• Data chains related to assets and investments;
• SimCorp Dimension (SCD) ;
• The main accounting and regulatory issues associated with investments, in particular French GAAP, IFRS 9 and Solvency II ;
• THE ESG indicators related to financial investments.

You are rigorous, comfortable with the manipulation and control of financial data and able to interact with different business stakeholders, Finance and Investments.
