We are looking for a Manager / Expert in Technical Insurance Accounting to support one of our clients in the insurance sector.

Context

We are looking for a Manager / Expert in Technical Insurance Accounting to support one of our clients in the insurance sector in managing and improving account justification activities and technical operations.

The mission is part of the Accounting Department, in an international environment.

Roles and responsibilities

• To manage and lead the activities of the team in charge of account justification and technical operations.
• Supervise the analysis, justification and reconciliation of off-balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor bank suspense accounts, transactions and technical accounts.
• Analyze existing processes and propose actions to improve reliability and optimization.
• Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the quality of account justification and reconciliation.
• Identify anomalies and malfunctions, define remediation plans and monitor their implementation.
• Supporting and training employees.
• Analyzing and presenting large and complex data in an environment characterized by multiple information systems and supply chain disruptions.

Skills & profile sought

• Proven expertise in technical accounting insurance, particularly on the processes of justification and accounting reconciliation.
• Significant experience in operational management of accounting teams.
• Solid command of data analysis and processing tools, in particular Excel and SAS.
• Ability to make complex accounting processes more reliable and optimized.
• Experience in defining and managing KPIs and improvement plans.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and reporting skills.
• Autonomy, proactive approach and results orientation.
• Professional English essential, in a context of international collaboration.
