Business Project Manager - Insurance - Niort

For one of our clients, a major player in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Business Project Manager to intervene within the framework of a structuring transformation program relating to the evolution of business processes and career paths.
Context
You will be involved in a business unit and will contribute to the management of several projects within the transformation program, in close coordination with business teams, IT and various stakeholders.
The mission requires a Excellent command of the business processes of property and casualty insurance., particularly around the claims and compensation management, in order to be able to understand the operational challenges, challenge the needs and support their transformation.
Roles and responsibilities
- Managing transformation projects and initiatives from start to finish, from scoping to implementation;
- Gather, analyze and formalize business needs;
- Facilitate workshops with the various stakeholders;
- Analyze existing processes and contribute to the definition of target processes;
- Build and monitor schedules, milestones, risks and action plans;
- Coordinate business and IT teams;
- Prepare and facilitate project governance bodies;
- Manage the acceptance testing phases and support the implementation of solutions;
- Ensure reporting and communication with the various stakeholders;
- Contribute to change management and the improvement of business processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business project management in the insurance sector ;
- Very good knowledge of the processes P&C, in particular of the claims and compensation management ;
- Experience with projects or programs business transformation ;
- Ability to understand and challenge the needs of operational teams;
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects involving business and IT stakeholders;
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills;
- Autonomy, rigor and the ability to thrive in a complex environment;
- A experience gained within a consulting firm is a plus.
