Senior Consultant – FGAAP Investment Accounting

Duration: Minimum 3 months | Start date: October 15, 2026 | Location: Paris region | Daily rate: Based on experience

As part of a reinforcement within the Finance Department of a major player in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Senior Consultant specializing in investment accounting under French GAAP (FGAAP).

Context

You will join a team in charge of investment accounting and will be involved in daily accounting production, closings, controls and reporting related to securities.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure daily accounting monitoring of investments: controls, entries and analyses;
• Control and account for management fees related to securities and repurchase agreements;
• Participate in monthly and quarterly accounting closings;
• Perform the preliminary analyses for inventory entries;
• Produce monthly reports and monitor the flows between management tools and accounting;
• Conduct quarterly audits, particularly on the following topics: premium/discount and inflation ;
• To carry out analyses at the request of the Investment Department, the General Accounting Department and the Auditors;
• Participate in securities-related projects in coordination with the various teams of the Finance Department.

Skills & profile sought

You have approximately 5 years of experience in investment accounting, ideally acquired in the insurance sector.

You are proficient in:

• There French GAAP accounting for investments ;
• Accounting issues related to securities;
• The closing and reporting processes associated with investments;
• Excel at an advanced level.

Knowledge of the software GP4 is highly appreciated.

You are autonomous, rigorous and comfortable in an environment requiring regular interaction with the Finance and Investment teams.
