Electronic Payment Program Director

Duration: 6 months | Start date: September 1, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience

As part of a strategic program to develop and evolve its payment solutions, a major player in the banking sector is seeking a Electronic Payment Project Manager to ensure the cross-functional management of its development roadmap Electronic banking.

Context

The consultant will operate in a complex and highly cross-functional environment, involving several squads, the product and IT teams as well as several banking institutions.

The developments are organized according to a Agile methodology.

Roles and responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for consolidating, managing and ensuring the successful execution of the roadmap:

• Consolidate and keep up to date the Electronic Payments and Wero Product Roadmap across all squads.
• Manage the various development milestones and monitor their progress.
• Identify and anticipate the risks, dependencies and sticking points likely to impact the roadmap.
• Analyze the constraints faced by development teams and banking institutions.
• To build and propose pragmatic remediation plans allowing commitments to be secured.
• Ensure that alerts, risks and necessary arbitrations are escalated to management.
• Coordinate communication between IT teams, squads, product teams and client banks.
• Prepare and maintain the supports for roadmap, risk monitoring and mitigation plans.
• Present the progress, risks and recommendations during the internal steering committees and with banking institutions.
• Facilitating decision-making and contributing to the alignment of different stakeholders.

Required Skills

We are looking for a Experienced Project Managercapable of managing a complex roadmap in a demanding banking and technological environment.

Ideally, you have:

• From one Significant experience in electronic banking and/or payment systems.
• With a solid background in managing complex, multi-squad IT programs or roadmaps.
• With excellent command of Agile methodologies and the functioning of development teams.
• An ability to understand technical, organizational and business constraints in order to propose realistic solutions.
• Experience in environments involving numerous stakeholders, ideally banks, financial institutions, IT teams and business units.
• Excellent communication skills with interlocutors of varying levels and profiles.
