Expert Consultant in Banking Transactions & Treasury

Duration: Long-term assignment | Start date: September 2026 | Location: Near Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

As part of a program to strengthen the IT teams of a major national public bodywe are looking for a Expert Consultant in Banking Transactions & Treasury in order to intervene on banking exchange platforms, cash flows and payment processes.

The consultant will join a team responsible for ensuring the availability, compliance and reliability of banking transactions while supporting the evolution of technical platforms.

Mission context

Within the Information Systems Department, you will work on critical environments related to banking transactions and treasury operations. You will be involved in both solution administration and production support, technical testing, and platform upgrades.

This assignment is for an experienced consultant with strong expertise in banking exchange systems and financial formats.

Roles and responsibilities

• Administer and configure banking and treasury exchange tools.
• Configure the protocols and communication channels with banking partners.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of incoming and outgoing financial flows.
• Participate in the evolution of the payment chain and exchange platforms.
• Integrate, convert and control bank files in ISO 20022 XML format.
• Perform data mapping and ensure the compliance of exchanges.
• Prepare the datasets required for technical and functional acceptance testing campaigns.
• Supporting project teams during the qualification phases.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents.
• Conduct root cause analyses and guide their resolution.
• Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation.

Required Skills

You have significant experience in banking and treasury exchange environments.

You are particularly skilled in:

• Banking exchange platforms and cash flows.
• Bank communication protocols.
• Bank formats CFONB And ISO 20022 (BREAD, CAMT...).
• The solutions of Treasury Management System (TMS).
• Configuring banking communication tools.
• Technical specifications and validation of exchange flows.
• Analysis and resolution of technical incidents.

• SQL and databases
• Sage Solutions (XRT Universe, SXBE Online Banking)
• ServiceNow
• Jira
• Confluence
• Monitoring and operating tools
