PROGRAM MANAGER – TRANSFORMATION & LOCALIZATION STRATEGY (INSURANCE)

As part of a strategic transformation program for a large group in the insurance sector, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager in order to support the structuring and management of several initiatives aimed at evolving its operational model and improving its efficiency.

Context

The mission includes a major challenge related to the location and distribution strategy for activities between different entities and geographical areas.

It combines an initial phase of framework and implementation of governancefollowed by a phase of execution management.

Roles and responsibilities

You will be involved in the overall management of the transformation program, with a particular focus on the strategy for the location and distribution of activities in an international environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• To structure and implement the governance of the program and its main projects.
• Supporting the definition and deployment of the business location strategy, in coordination with the various entities and regions concerned.
• Controlling the trajectories of distribution, transfer and pooling of activities between the different locations.
• Coordinate the associated impacts on the dimensions operational, IT, HR and financial.
• Consolidate roadmaps, monitor milestones and secure progress on the various projects.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and points of contention, and facilitate arbitration.
• Implement management tools: KPIs, dashboards, roadmaps, risk matrices and action plans.
• Prepare and lead governance bodies and provide concise reporting to management.
• Supporting site managers in securing their deliverables.
• Contribute to budget monitoring, change management and communication around the program.

Skills & profiles sought

• Significant experience of at least 8 years in Program Management, Delivery Office, Transformation Office or Strategic PMO.
• Experience with complex programs transformation of operational models within large groups.
• An experience with the problems of location, transfer, pooling or reorganization of activities is particularly sought after.
• Good understanding of the issues at stake x-shoring, offshoring and/or nearshoring.
• Mastery of governance mechanisms, executive reporting and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate topics involving the dimensions Professions, IT, HR and Finance.
• Excellent capabilities of synthesis, structuring and communication.
• Autonomy, rigor and ability to interact with management-level interlocutors.
• Fluent English is essential.
