Interim IT Manager – Savings & Banking Taxation

We are looking for a Senior IT Interim Manager to support a major player in the banking sector in the evolution of its managerial organization and the management of its Savings and Taxation IT products.

Context

We are looking for a Senior IT Interim Manager to support a major player in the banking sector in the evolution of its managerial organization and the management of its Savings and Taxation IT products.

The mission takes place in a complex environment, encompassing more than 80 internal and external collaborators, with several structuring transformation projects.

Roles and responsibilities

Working directly with the existing product manager, you will focus on three priority areas:

1. Operational management of the Savings IT system scope

• Take responsibility quickly for part of the Savings scope.
• To manage activities, coordinate teams and ensure operational decisions.
• Ensuring business continuity and control of commitments.
• To support the distribution of responsibilities between the current manager and his future deputy.

2. Management of strategic IT projects

• Take direct responsibility for one or two key projects.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams: project directors, project managers, business analysts and developers.
• Secure objectives, milestones, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Make the necessary decisions, anticipate potential problems and bring the decisions to the attention of management.
• Provide concise and decision-oriented reporting.

3. Supporting managerial transformation

• Help define the target organization and the distribution of roles and responsibilities.
• Prepare and support the integration of the future assistant savings manager.
• Organize and secure the transfer of responsibility for the Tax product to its new manager.
• Structuring the handover processes to guarantee the autonomy of the future organization.

Skills & profile sought

You have a valid reason for Proven experience of at least 9 to 12 years, with strong expertise in operational management and in leading complex IT projects.

• Significant experience in interim management or in taking over operational areas.
• Ability to manage large organizations, combining internal teams and service providers.
• Proven experience in leading complex and strategic IT projects.
• Leadership, autonomy and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Mastery of governance, organizational and transformation issues.
• Ability to structure an organization and to manage transfers of responsibilities.
• Experience in the banking sector, ideally in Savings or Tax information systems.
• Experience in taking over teams or temporarily replacing managers.

You know how to unite existing teams, take on responsibilities without requiring constant support, and work in a complementary way with the existing management.
