Interim Director – Digital/IT Department
(Insurance sector)

Duration: approx. 6 months | Start date: mid-November 2025 | Location: Saint-Denis | Daily rate: depending on experience

We are looking for a Digital/IT Transition Director on behalf of one of our clients in the sector insurance, as part of a project to Strategic management of the Digital department.

Context

The client is leading a transformation of its digital ecosystem and is looking for an Interim Director to take charge of the management of the Digital and IT department.
This department manages both the external digital solutions (portals and websites, customer areas) and the internal cross-functional solutions (electronic signature, SSO, managers' workstations).
The objective is to ensure managerial continuity, monitoring of strategic projects and coordination of internal and external teams.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure the operational and strategic management of the Digital department (approximately 50 internal and external FTEs).
• Supervise all activities related to digital solutions and to cross-functional IT tools.
• Guarantee the successful project execution in conjunction with the business units and technical teams.
• Supporting the digital transformation and ensuring the consistency of the project portfolio.
• Managing budgets, performance indicators and relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure communication and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.

Skills & profile sought

• Proven experience in Head of Digital/IT Department in the sector bank or insurance.
• Ability to managing multidisciplinary teams and to manage complex environments.
• Skills in IT governance, supplier management and change management.
• Leadership, decision-making ability and a sense of teamwork.
• Experience in interim management or in a transformation environment would be an asset.

• Location : Saint-Denis (on-site presence 3 days/week)
• Duration : 6 months (mid-November to end of April)

• Remuneration: depending on profile and experience
