Senior Consultant - Prudential Metrics - Banking
Duration: 2 months renewable | Start date: immediately | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience
As part of a mission within the Financial Department of a major French bankwe are looking for a experienced consultant to intervene within the Financial Risk Reporting & Management departmentThis department is in charge of the production of prudential metrics, particularly in terms of solvency, ALM-Liquidity as well as associated regulatory reports.
Within The consultant will support the department head within the team responsible for the control, certification, and analysis of RWA, Large Risks, and Leverage Ratios. in managing cross-functional production-related topics, including monitoring risky projects and handling specific requests.
Roles and responsibilities
- Accompany the department head on cross-cutting issues related to the production of prudential metrics
- Monitor the progress of risky projects and coordinate the associated actions
- Manage production activities in conjunction with internal teams
- Ensure operational monitoring and propose arbitrations when necessary
- Contribute to the analysis and reliability of regulatory metrics (RWA, credit risk, etc.)
- Responding to specific requests related with the regulatory challenges
Required Skills
- Proven experience in team management (activity management, progress monitoring, decision-making)
- Solid expertise in RWA production and credit risk
- Good knowledge of banking regulatory issues (Basel, solvency, etc.)
- Ability to evolve in a demanding and high-visibility environment
- Excellent analytical skills, coordination and communication
