IT Project Manager – Accountability / Data Impact

Duration: 7 months renewable | Start date: early June 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience

We are looking for a IT Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients, a development bank, as part of a project steering the measurement of the impact and accountability of the funding granted.

Context

As part of a strategic program focused on measuring the impact of funded projects, the mission aims to structure and ensure the reliability of data used to assess contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The consultant will work on a structuring IT project centered around a SaaS solution dedicated to the management and monitoring of these indicators, with significant challenges related to data quality, project management and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Roles and responsibilities

• Overall project management (planning, budget, quality, risks)
• Organization and facilitation of scoping workshops with stakeholders (business, IT department, integrators)
• Coordination of project teams and management of dependencies
• Facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and configuring associated tools
• Progress tracking via MS Project / Jira and reporting to the relevant bodies
• Drafting of specifications (functional/technical) if necessary
• Definition and management of the testing strategy (Squash)
• Supervision of the acceptance testing phases, including data recovery and quality aspects
• Managing interfaces and architectural topics in conjunction with urban planners
• Risk management and preparation of arbitrations for governance bodies
• Facilitating committee meetings (steering committees, co-ownership committees, architectural committees)
• Communication with sponsors and support for business units in managing change

Required Skills

• Significant experience (10+ years) in management of complex IT projects
• Excellent project management skills (costs, deadlines, quality, risks)
• Proven expertise in Agile / Scrum (Certification appreciated)
• Proficient in the following tools: Jira, Squash, MS Project
• Experience in defining and managing testing strategy
• Solid experience in the issues of data quality and data recovery
• Good understanding of IT architectures and the ability to challenge the technical choices
• Experience on SaaS solutions
• Knowledge of a tool of the type AidPortfolio Aid Impact appreciated
• Ability to challenge business needs and manage priorities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
