We are looking for a Finance & Audit Coordinator on behalf of an international industrial player as part of a strategic project to prepare for an initial public offering (IPO).
Context
You will join the Finance department to support the accounting and finance teams in preparing audit work, coordinating stakeholders and producing the financial information expected within the framework of this high-visibility project.
The consultant will work in conjunction with local Finance teams, the parent company, external auditors, and various internal contributors.
Roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparatory work related to financial audits within the framework of the IPO project.
- Examine and validate the quality of responses provided to requests from external auditors.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information and necessary follow-up actions.
- Collect, consolidate and control financial and risk data over several fiscal years.
- Prepare the information and documentation requested by the audit teams.
- Develop and maintain the project monitoring schedule as well as progress reports for management.
- Coordinate the collection and transmission of deliverables between the different internal teams.
- Follow up on additional requests issued by the Finance and Accounting teams.
- Participate in the production and review of accounts and financial statements in accordance with French GAAP.
- To be a true facilitator between the financial teams, the auditors and the various stakeholders of the project.
Skills & profiles sought

We are looking for a consultant with at least 5 years of experience, having evolved in demanding financial environments.
The ideal candidate possesses, in particular:
- An experience in financial audit and/or financial management.
- Experience in coordinating financial projects or audits.
- Excellent command of French accounting (French GAAP).
- A good understanding of financial statements, financial risks and closing processes.
- A strong ability to analyze, structure and control financial data.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- A perfect mastery of English - bilingual (spoken and written) essential for working in an international environment.
- Excellent communication skills enabling interaction with interlocutors at different levels.
Other desirable skills:
- Participation in an initial public offering (IPO) project.
- Experience in a An international group, ideally listed on a US market.
- Knowledge of a Finance ERP system, in particular QADappreciated.
