Senior Banking Accounting Consultant
Consolidation & Regulatory Reporting | Toulouse

We are looking for a Senior Bank Accounting Consultant for one of our banking clients as part of a project to strengthening of closing, consolidation and regulatory reporting activities.

Context

As part of a temporary reinforcement of its Finance teams, our client is seeking a senior consultant capable of working independently on closing and consolidation tasks. The role involves ensuring the accurate production of year-end financial and regulatory statements within a demanding and confidential banking environment. The consultant must be able to quickly become operational and handle critical matters with limited supervision.

Roles and responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce the consolidation work for the month of September.
• Participate in accounting closings according to IFRS standards.
• Identify and remove blocking controls impacting financial production.
• Perform intra-group reconciliations.
• Contribute to the production and control of FINREP and COREP regulatory reports.
• To ensure day-to-day operations (BAU) within the Accounting & Consolidation scope.
• To ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of financial data.
• Collaborating with the Accounting, Consolidation and Regulatory Reporting teams.

Required Skills

Ideally, you have:

• More than 8 to 10 years of experience in bank accounting.
• Proven experience in fences and of the consolidation in banking environment.
• Mastery of standards IFRS.
• Excellent knowledge of prudential reporting FINREP And COREP.
• Solid experience in intra-group reconciliations and accounting controls.
• Ability to intervene quickly and independently on critical issues.
• Recent experience within a bank or financial group is a plus.
• Experience in regulatory productions under tight deadlines is also appreciated.
