IT Program Director – Health Insurance Transformation

Duration: 18 months | Start date: mid-August 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience

We are looking for a IT Program Director on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector as part of a project to take over the internal management of an insurance business and to transform the information system.

Context

As part of a strategic transformation program, our client wishes to strengthen its IT governance to manage the in-house management of an insurance business. The project takes place in a complex environment involving multiple applications, technologies, and stakeholders, with a significant focus on coordination and alignment between IT and business teams.

Roles and responsibilities

• Organize and manage the IT work related to the takeover of the insurance scope under internal management.
• To ensure the overall consistency of actions carried out within the framework of the program.
• Structuring the coordination between application, technical, business teams and external partners.
• Define and implement a management organization adapted to a multi-application and multi-technology environment.
• Ensure the planning, monitoring and alignment of IT work with program objectives.
• Identify, analyze and escalate risks, warning signs and critical dependencies.
• Produce regular summaries for the benefit of governance bodies.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables and their compliance with business and technical requirements.
• Supporting the management of interactions between existing information systems and target solutions in a complex insurance context.

Skills & profile sought

• Experience of 15 to 20 years in IT program management large-scale.
• Proven expertise in program management.
• Solid knowledge of the claims management in the insurance sector.
• Piloting experience in complex and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong aptitude for risk management, executive reporting and program governance.

Mission Details

• Start date: Mid-August.
• Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension.
• Schedule: Full-time.
