AMOA Procurement / Procurement Transformation – Ivalua

We are looking for a consultant Senior Purchasing Project Management Assistance on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector as part of a strategic program for the transformation of the Purchasing function.

Context

As part of a procurement transformation program, our client wishes to strengthen its team with a highly experienced independent consultant. You will support the Procurement Manager on topics such as transformation, ofcontinuous improvement and of governanceby bringing your business expertise, your vision of best market practices and your ability to influence functional and organizational directions.

Roles and responsibilities

• Supporting the Purchasing Manager in their transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Identify areas for optimization of existing processes and systems.
• Contribute to the functional and organizational considerations of the Purchasing function.
• To provide an external perspective and share best practices observed within large organizations.
• Participate in functional design and project management assistance (AMOA) work related to Purchasing.
• Contribute to discussions related to Procurement governance and its evolution.

Skills & profile sought

• Minimum 8 years of experience, ideally 10 to 15 years old.
• Proven experience as aBuyerideally in the financial services sector or in indirect procurement.
• Good command ofIvalua, in business use and/or within the framework of AMOA missions.
• Solid experience in AMOA AchatsFunctional design and procurement governance.
• Excellent understanding of the organization, governance and challenges of a Purchasing function.
• Good knowledge of the subjects Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) / Supplier risk management.
• Knowledge of the issues related to the electronic invoicing.
• Ability to challenge existing practices, formulate recommendations and support decision-making.
