Insurance Program Director – Claims Management

Duration: 18 months | Start date: mid-August 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience

We are looking for a Program Director on behalf of one of our clients in the healthcare sector, as part of a Claims management transformation program.

Context

Our client is launching a strategic program to evolve its claims management operating model. In this context, we are seeking an experienced Program Director to support the structuring, management, and implementation of this program, working closely with the business teams and program management.

Roles and responsibilities

Phase 1 – Structuring and preparing the program

• Consolidate and formalize the target vision of the value chain.
• Define and structure the program (governance, macro-planning, projects).
• Identify and define the priority tasks.
• Prepare and organize the program launch (kick-off).
• Set up the management tools (monitoring of actions, risks and dependencies).
• Prepare for an operational launch under the best possible conditions.

Phase 2 – Piloting and defining the target model

• To ensure the overall management of the program.
• Coordinate the different projects and monitor the milestones.
• Contribute to defining the target operating model.
• Supporting strategic arbitration and decision-making.
• Prepare, facilitate and report back on the framing workshops.
• Produce and formalize strategic deliverables.
• Develop and monitor the program schedule.
• Ensure monitoring of the scope and budget.
• Prepare and, if necessary, co-chair the governance bodies.
• Drafting minutes for committee and body meetings.

Skills & profile sought

• Experience of 15 to 20 years in program management or strategic project.
• Solid expertise in the insurance claims management.
• Proven experience in managing complex transformation programs.
• Excellent command of governance, planning and risk management mechanisms.
• Ability to interact with high-level stakeholders and to support strategic decisions.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and formalization skills.

• Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
