Senior Consultant EMIR REFIT – Regulatory Reporting / Data Migration

Duration: 2 months (pre-assignment assessment) | Start date: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

We are looking for a Senior EMIR REFIT consultant on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a project to bring EMIR REFIT regulatory reporting into compliance and transformation.

Context

Within a CIB Bank, you will be involved in a scoping mission aimed at ensuring the reliability of the sourcing of data necessary for EMIR REFIT reporting and supporting the outsourcing of part of the Middle Office / Back Office chain to a new provider.

Roles and responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Map the sourcing of more than 200 data points required for EMIR REFIT reporting.
• Identify the gaps and risks of non-compliance in the current system.
• Facilitate workshops with the AMOA, IT and Global Market Operations teams and formalize the requirements.
• Define the data to be migrated and the migration strategy to the new provider.
• Supporting the design of the target EMIR REFIT reporting system.
• Define data quality controls and identify any potential weaknesses in the provider's system.
• Present the main risks and points of attention to Management.

Required Skills

Ideally, you have:

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Proven expertise in EMIR REFIT and regulatory reporting.
• Significant experience in a CIB / Global Markets environment.
• Good knowledge of derivative products.
• Expertise in sourcing, quality and data migration.
• French and English required.
