Senior Tax Risk & Transformation Consultant (F/M) - Bank

Duration: Minimum 9 months | Start date: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

We are looking for a Senior Consultant Risk Management & Transformation on behalf of one of our clients in the sector bank as part of a project to tax risk management and of organizational transformation.

Context

Within the department managing global tax services, you will be involved in the Risk Management & Transformation Office team for a 9-month mission as head of the unit.

Your role will be to ensure the operational continuity of existing risk management frameworks while actively supporting ongoing transformation and change management projects.

Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the department, your main responsibilities will focus on the following areas:

• Tax Risk Management and Maintenance:
  • Update the cross-cutting mapping of tax risks.
  • Ensure that first-level controls (LOD1 / RCSA) are carried out according to the established schedule.
• Governance Support:
  • Maintain the department's methodological framework (RACI matrix, activity mapping).
  • Prepare materials and reports for upcoming governance bodies.
• Support for Transformation Projects:
  • Contribute to the orchestration of strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project management methodological frameworks.
• Change Management & Strategic Transition:
  • Support and buy-in: Supporting the deployment of the new organizational model by accompanying and coaching operational teams.
  • Process modeling: Translating the target organizational vision into concrete, daily operational models (RACI deployment).
  • Stakeholder engagement: Leading change management within tax and product communities (clear communication, support in the face of resistance or questions).
  • Monitoring the transition: Measuring the success of the reorganization using qualitative indicators and operational KPIs.

Required Skills

Ideally, you have:

• Proven experience: Confirmed expertise in Risk Management or in driving transformation projects within the banking sector.
• Mastery of control process Excellent knowledge of LOD1/RCSA devices and the ability to manage complex checklists (CCLs).
• Autonomy & Adaptability: Ability to quickly integrate (“plug and play”) into a complex organizational structure with minimal learning time.
• Excellence in communication: Ability to simplify complex organizational changes into clear, structured and unifying messages.
• Resilience & Agility: Ability to evolve effectively in a changing and calibration environment.
• LANGUAGES : English Mandatory current (international working environment).
