Solvency II Actuary – Capital Modeling & Management
Duration: 5 months | Start date: July 15, 2026 | Location: Rouen & TT | Daily rate: based on experience
We are looking for a Solvency II Actuary on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector as part of a economic steering project, prospective modeling and capital management.
Context
As part of strengthening its economic management activities, our client is seeking an experienced consultant to support the teams on topics related to forward-looking modeling, capital management, and the work of the key actuarial function. This role is part of the preparation for upcoming regulatory operations and ORSA exercises.
Roles and responsibilities
- Participate in the production of the capital management plan.
- Perform LACDT (recoverability tests) and recoverable deferred tax assets assessments, proposing methodological improvements.
- Contribute to post-ORSA sensitivity measurements and to the preparation of models for ORSA exercises.
- Assist in the production of actuarial reports and the follow-up of recommendations from the key actuarial function.
- Design and develop assessment tools, dashboards and reports.
- To be proactive in proposing methodologies and optimization solutions.
Skills & profile sought
- Minimum 7 years of experience in actuarial science.
- Excellent command of Solvency II.
- Significant experience in prospective modeling (ORSA), ideally in Life and Non-Life Insurance.
- Solid knowledge of capital management and optimization.
- Proficiency in SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and data visualization solutions.
- Autonomy and analytical skills.
- Ability to synthesize information and a sense of pedagogy.
