IFRS 18 Consultant – Accounting Project Scoping
Duration: 6 months (3-month renewal) | Start date: March 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience
We are looking for an expert consultant in accounting projects on behalf of one of our clients in the financial sector as part of a IFRS 18 framework project.
Context
Our client wishes to launch a framework around the IFRS 18 standard.
The objective is to analyze the accounting and organizational impacts related to the evolution of the reference framework and to structure the roadmap for achieving compliance.
Roles and responsibilities
- Defining the scope of the IFRS 18 project
- Analyze the impacts of the standard on financial statements and accounting processes
- Identify the gaps between the existing situation and IFRS 18 requirements
- Define the projects to be implemented (processes, tools, governance)
- Formalize the scoping deliverables and the roadmap
- Interact with accounting teams and project stakeholders
Required Skills
- 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting projects
- Solid knowledge of IFRS standards
- Proven experience in regulatory transformation or evolution projects
- Ability to define the framework and structure a project approach
- Excellent analytical and formalization skills
- Experience in a banking or insurance environment
