Senior IT Costing Consultant – Diagnostics & Implementation (Financial Sector)
Duration: 9 months | Start date: February 23, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience
We are looking for a Senior Consultant Costing IT on behalf of one of our clients in the financial sector as part of a IT cost allocation model redesign project.
Context
With the aim of optimizing IT financial management, our client wishes to carry out a diagnosis of its IT costing model And define a target-oriented, tool-based approachbefore his implementation operational.
The mission unfolds in two phases:
Phase 1 – Diagnosis & Framing (February 22 to early April 2026)
- Interviews with stakeholders (IT Department, Finance, IT Management Control, IT Performance)
- Defining the data granularity and analysis axes
- Tool recommendation and selection
- Defining the implementation phase
Phase 2 – Implementation (April to November 2026)
- Deployment of the target approach and tool
- Support for IT and Finance teams
Roles and responsibilities
- Perform a diagnostic assessment of the existing model
- Define a relevant and robust target allocation model
- Recommend and implement the appropriate tools
- Ensure coordination between the IT and Finance teams
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT Costing / IT Financial Management
- Expertise in models of'IT cost allocation' in a banking or insurance environment
- Good understanding of Finance/IT Management Control issues
- Experience in selecting and implementing costing tools (such as Apptio, ServiceNow ITBM, etc.)
- Autonomy, senior advisory role, ability to interact with management
