Technical Accounting Expert for Insurance

Duration: Minimum 4 months | Start date: February 20, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience - maximum €700

We are looking for an expert in technical accounting insurance on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector, as part of a project securing and optimizing accounting processes.

Context

The mission is part of an accounting department and aims to support the management of Technical Accounting, with a strong focus on reliability, management of recurring work and securing of fences.

Roles and responsibilities

In this context, the consultant will be involved in the following tasks:

• To ensure the proper execution of technical accounting tasks and to actively contribute to accounting closings and final accounting procedures.
• Supporting the Technical Accounting manager in managing recurring activities
• Structuring, managing and monitoring the work involved in reviewing, optimizing and improving accounting processes
• Contribute to reliability improvement efforts and cross-functional projects within the department.
• Summarize and share the progress of the work and the action plans with management
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the activity.

Skills & profile sought

• Proven experience in insurance accountingideally in a large group environment
• Mastery of French accounting standards and IFRS
• Solid experience in security missions fences, improving the reliability of accounting data and process improvement
• Proficiency with accounting and reporting tools
• Ability to work independently while providing advice and managerial support.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Expert/confirmed senior level expected
