Senior Financial Market Consultant – Solvent Wind Down / Bank Resolution
Duration: Minimum 1 year | Start date: End of January 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Varies depending on experience
We are looking for a senior consultant in market finance on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a regulatory project related to the Implementation of Solvent Wind Down processes on trading books, in response to the expectations of the Single Resolution Board (SRB).
Context
The mission is part of a context of strengthening requirements for bank resolution and aims to align existing systems with European regulatory standards, capitalizing on work already carried out to meet the equivalent requirements of the PRA.
Roles and responsibilities
The consultant will be involved in the following activities:
- Analysis of SRB expectations regarding the implementation of Solvent Wind Down processes applied to market activities
- Creation of a gap analysis between the requirements of the SRB and the devices, tools and processes already developed within the
- Group to meet the requirements of the PRA
- Identification of discrepancies at the regulatory, functional and technical levels
- Definition and formalization of an action plan to ensure compliance with SRB expectations
- Contribution to discussions with the risk, finance, IT and regulatory teams
- Production of structured deliverables adapted to a regulatory oversight context
Required Skills
- Senior profile, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial markets / risk management
- Solid knowledge of metrics related to market activities :
- financial resources
- market indicators
- data from risk models (Basel 2.5, FRTB, etc.)
- Experience within or in close interaction with market risk analysis teams
- Prior experience in Wind Down programs Resolution Planning (e.g., TWD for PRA) is a significant asset
