Consolidation Consultant

Duration: Minimum 3 months | Start date: Early January 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience

We are looking for a consultant in Consolidation on behalf of one of our clients in the banking sector, as part of an accounting reinforcement project.

Context

As part of a change in consolidation methodology, our client wishes to strengthen its teams to ensure:

• Monitoring of the 2025 reporting work,
• Preparing for and anticipating the impacts related to changes in the accounting framework and processes.

The mission takes place within the Finance Department, in a banking environment, in a context of closure and transformation.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure the monitoring of the 2025 reporting package for entities within the scope.
• Contribute to closing activities in conjunction with the consolidation and accounting teams.
• Analyze the accounting and operational impacts of the change in consolidation method.
• Perform tests on the SAP BFC validation basis to validate the correct consideration of the 2026 impacts.
• Formalize the findings, analyses and conclusions intended for the consolidation teams and internal stakeholders.
• Participate, if necessary, in internal workshops related to the transition to the new method.

Required Skills

• Proven experience (+5 years) in financial consolidationideally in banking/insurance or a regulated environment.
• Mastery of accounting standards and some consolidation methods.
• Excellent understanding of closing and reporting processes.
• Practice of SAP BFC (testing, validation, data structuring).
• Ability to analyze, formalize and present complex elements.
• Autonomy, rigor, analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
