Senior Non-Life Inventory Actuary – French GAAP & Solvency II
Duration: Minimum 4 months | Start date: June 8, 2026 | Location: Rouen and surrounding areas | Daily rate: Based on experience
We are looking for a Senior Non-Life Inventory Actuary on behalf of one of our clients as part of a draft production of inventory and regulatory provisioning orders.
Context
As part of the forward-looking and quarterly financial statements of a non-life insurance company, our client is seeking an experienced consultant to support the inventory actuarial teams on the provisioning work in accordance with French GAAP and Solvency II standards.
The mission notably covers the June and September closings as well as the Q2 and Q3 quarterly closings.
Roles and responsibilities
- Perform multi-standard provisioning work: Insurance Code, ANC Regulation, Solvency II
- Apply the provisioning models: Chain Ladder, Bornhuetter Ferguson, Bootstrap
- Feed the provisioning tools
- Validate certain technical scopes: Car damage, Car liability
- Produce summary notes after each decree
- Analyze existing processes and propose areas for improvement
- Explain and justify the methodological choices made.
- Collaborating with business and actuarial teams while respecting deadlines
Skills & profile sought
- Minimum 7 years of experience in actuarial inventory non-life
- Expertise in non-life provisioning
- Good command of French GAAP and Solvency II standards
- Mastery of tools : IBNRS, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Analytical and synthesis skills
