Senior IT Project Manager – Banking Sector

Duration: 25 months (until the end of 2027) | Start: mid-November 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max €750

We are looking for a Experienced IT Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients in the banking sector, as part of a strategic project implementation of a collaborator portal (back and front office activities) intended to modernize the information system.

Mission context
This project is part of a vast transformation program aimed at strengthening and rationalizing the information system.
The future employee portal will allow business teams to manage and monitor their development projects via a unified, ergonomic interface integrated into the existing application ecosystem.
The consultant will work within the IT department, in tandem with a business project manager, and will manage a multi-stakeholder system in an agile and complex environment.

Roles and responsibilities

The IT Project Director's main missions will be to:

• Manage the project as a whole (budget, planning, governance, quality of deliverables);
• Coordinate the various internal and external stakeholders (MOA, integrator, architects, agile coach, etc.);
• Plan and monitor work using existing tools and methods (Jira, MAPI, Agile/Scrum);
• Prepare and lead steering bodies (COPIL, COPRO, architecture committees);
• Ensure budget reporting and risk management;
• Participate in the design and monitoring of the technical solution with the integration partner;
• Structure and orchestrate deliveries in stages, including cross-functional receipts;
• Support businesses in managing change and guarantee the functional and technical consistency of the system.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management complex and transverse;
• Solid experience in the banking sector, ideally on user portal or IT redesign projects ;
• Mastery of project management methods (V cycle / Agile) and management tools (Jira, Excel);
• Excellent ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams;
• Professional English preferred.

Teleworking: 2 or 3 days per week in agreement with the client
Daily rate: maximum €750 excluding VAT / day
