Senior Consultant – Production Market Risk & Reporting (Power BI, SQL, Excel)

We are looking for an experienced consultant Market Risk expert as part of a large operational transformation program on behalf of one of our banking sector clients based in Paris.
The mission is to produce monthly reports keys for the market risk management, and of structure supports analysis for internal committees.
Roles and responsibilities
The consultant will work within the team responsible for monitoring market risks and will be responsible in particular for:
- Produce reports monthly related to XVA, LOCOM, Collateral Explain, asset/derivative valuation, etc. processes.
- Develop an automated report under Power BI from the data produced, intended for the internal Market Risk committee.
- Ensure the analysis and reporting of results to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes.
Deliverables
- Consolidated monthly production Excel file.
- Power BI report summarizing key indicators.
Required profile :
- Strong expertise in market risk production
- Knowledge of processes related to the valuation of assets/rate derivatives/inflation/fx
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL and Excel (advanced level required)
- More than 5 years of experience
- Engineering school type training or equivalent
- Excellent communication in French and English
