Senior Manager Finance (Luxembourg)

Duration: 3 months renewable | Start date: ASAP | Location: Luxembourg | TJM: according to profile

We are looking for several consultants Senior Finance Manager on behalf of one of our clients (financial sector) as part of a team reinforcement project Finance, Compliance, Corporate Services, Fund Accounting and Tax.

Mission context

Due to a temporary increase in activity and in order to strengthen several key departments, our client wishes to integrate several independent consultants based in Luxembourg, possessing a solid local expertise (>10 years of experience in Luxembourg) and a confirmed role at the level Senior Manager.

The consultants will provide support to internal teams on strategic and operational missions in the following areas:

• Corporate Accounting
• Compliance 2nd line
• Corporate Services / Client Support / Payments
• Fund Accounting
• Tax Advisory & Compliance

Roles and responsibilities (depending on the consultant's expertise)

• Corporate Accounting
  • Supervision of accounting and financial production (Lux GAAP)
  • Review of annual accounts, VAT returns, CIT, MBT, NWT, FATCA/CRS
  • Participation in consolidations, audits and restructuring
  • Supervising accounting teams and improving processes

  Compliance 2nd Line

  • Strengthening of the permanent and independent control mechanism
  • Gap analysis and remediation plans will be conducted.
  • Regulatory monitoring (CSSF, AML/CTF, AIFMD, MiFID II, DORA, MiCA, etc.)
  • Management of registers and regulatory reporting

  Corporate Services / Client Support / Payments

  • Supervision of corporate activities (RCS, legal filings, governance)
  • Management and security of internal and customer payments
  • Managing onboarding and inter-team coordination
  • Billing, collection and reporting management

  Fund Accounting

  • Accounting and financial production of AIF/PE/VC funds
  • Preparation and validation of NAVs and CSSF reports
  • Coordination with auditors, investors and authorities
  • Participation in systems projects and continuous improvement

  Tax Advisory & Compliance

  • Review and supervision of tax returns (CIT, MBT, NWT, VAT)
  • FATCA/CRS management, DAC6/DAC8
  • Tax advice on complex transactions, restructurings and operations
  • Support for tax audits and collaboration with the Finance teams

Required skills (common to all 5 functions)

• Over 10 years of professional experience in Luxembourg
• Proven experience in a financial, banking or insurance environment
• Solid understanding of Luxembourg regulations (CSSF, AML/CTF, taxation, company law, Lux GAAP…)
• Ability to work independently as a Senior Manager
• Leadership, rigor, analytical skills and strong adaptability
• Fluency in French and English
• Mandatory presence in Luxembourg (no fully remote work)
