Senior Data Management Consultant - Insurance

Duration: 6 months | Start date: February 16, 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience - max €730

We are looking for a Senior Consultant in Data Management on behalf of one of our insurance clients as part of a project strengthening data governance and upskilling business teams.

Context

In a context of structuring data practices and accelerating the maturity of Data Domain Managers, the mission aims to establish a pool of experts capable of intervening on the operational, methodological and pedagogical dimensions of Data Management, within a demanding and regulated environment.

Roles and responsibilities

• Contribute to the identification, structuring and enhancement of the organization's key data, in conjunction with the business and data teams.
• Establish and maintain reliable and usable data documentation (dictionaries, metadata, repositories), aligned with governance standards.
• Define and manage data quality indicators, analyze discrepancies and support improvement actions.
• Supporting Data Domains Managers in adopting Data Management tools and practices, particularly through Collibra.
• Design and facilitate skills development programs (materials, guides, workshops) that promote team autonomy and the dissemination of best practices.
• To intervene in support of structuring Data initiatives in order to secure deadlines, quality and overall consistency of the governance system.

Skills & profile sought

• Proven expertise in Data Management and Data Governance, acquired in complex and regulated environments.
• Mastery of data cataloging and governance tools, ideally Collibra.
• Solid experience in data quality (defining rules, monitoring indicators, improvement plans).
• Ability to produce clear, structured and business-oriented documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teaching ability to support and develop the skills of non-technical interlocutors.
• Autonomy, rigor and the ability to thrive in an insurance environment.
