Senior Purchasing Data Analyst – Asset Management Mission

Duration: 4 months, renewable | Start date: end of August 2026 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: based on experience

 

We are looking for a Data Analyst - Purchasing on behalf of one of our clients in the financial sector (Asset Management) as part of a project to optimize the Purchasing function.

 

Context

You will be involved in the Purchasing Department in order to strengthen the reporting, analysis and automation capabilities for data related to purchasing, business travel and expense management. You will contribute to improving data reliability and implementing decision support tools for business teams.

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Design, maintain and develop recurring and ad-hoc Purchasing reports.
  • Develop management dashboards using Power BI.
  • Consolidate and ensure the reliability of data from multiple sources (ERP, business tools, exports).
  • Structure, clean, and reconcile data using Power Query and SQL.
  • Produce indicators to monitor spending, supplier performance and Travel & Expenses activities.
  • Automate data processing and reporting processes.
  • Document the processes, data flows and business rules.
  • Supporting business teams in data analysis and the production of reliable indicators.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization of Purchasing processes.

 

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as Data Analyst, ideally in a Purchasing, Finance or Management Control environment.
  • Excellent command of Power BI (DAX, modeling, publication).
  • Excellent command ofExcel (TCD, advanced formulas, Power Pivot).
  • Excellent command of Power Query and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Python, VBA or other data processing languages is appreciated.
  • Experience in process automation (UiPath or equivalent solution preferred).
  • Good understanding of the issues related to Purchases and to the management of expenses.
  • Ability to structure, analyze and present complex data.
  • Fluent French and English professional.
