Financial control and regulatory reporting – Banking sector

Duration: 10 months | Start: 01/09/25 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: €850 max

We are looking for a senior consultant in financial control and regulatory reporting on behalf of one of our banking sector clients based in Paris, as part of a project to strengthen the capacities of its financial department.

🎯 Mission context
As part of a temporary reinforcement, our client wishes to support its financial department with closing, reporting and control work in a demanding banking environment.

🛠 Roles and responsibilities
The consultant will support internal teams across a broad functional scope, including in particular:

• Second-level accounting, tax and regulatory controls.
• Annual and half-yearly closing work, as well as the production of financial analyses.
• Production of reports for partners (EDFI, EU, etc.).
• Participation in cross-functional projects (IS developments, improvement of control tools, automation of reporting).
• Contribution to the drafting of financial notes (e.g. new products).
• The formalization and updating of internal procedures.
• Participation in internal training (support, e-learning).
• The consultant will be fully integrated into the division and will participate in the collective dynamics of the team.

🎓 Required Skills

• Higher education in accounting, finance or auditing.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including a significant portion in financial or banking environments.
• Very good knowledge of IFRS standards and banking regulations.
• Solid experience in financial control, closings and reporting.
• Comfortable with office and IT tools (Excel, ERP, reporting tools).
• Autonomy, rigor, analytical mind, good writing skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with numerous internal contacts.
• Fluency in written and spoken French (mandatory).
