BA Travel process expert (Traveling) - Book to Expense

Duration: 12 months min. | Start: ASAP | Location: full remote | Daily rate: max €600

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst, an expert in the travel industry, to support a leading group in the sector. The candidate will act as a Business Analyst to redesign, model, and manage the optimization of book-to-expense processes.

 Main missions

1. Analysis and functional framing
   • Understand and map existing processes related to the book-to-expense cycle.
   • Identify friction points, risks and opportunities for improvement.
2. Process optimization
   • Define target functional processes.
   • Develop optimized, standardized and scalable processes.
3. Transformation management
   • Define the roadmap and deployment schedule for new solutions.
   • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage necessary adjustments.
4. Support and governance
   • Lead workshops with business and IT teams and provide expertise.
   • Participate in the drafting of deliverables (expressions of needs, specifications, user stories, etc.).
   • Expertise provision activity.
   • Ensure overall functional consistency and user adoption.

Required profile

• Experience : Minimum 8 years as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in the travel sector.
• Functional expertise : Demonstrated mastery of book-to-expense processes and the travel value chain (reservation, invoicing, reimbursement).
• Analytical skills : Ability to formalize and model complex processes, to identify optimization levers.
• Soft skills : Communication skills, ability to summarize, leadership to lead workshops and unite teams around the project.
