Actuary / Senior ALM Engineer – Life Insurance – Solvency II

We are looking for an AIT Manager / Senior ALM Engineer on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector, as part of a project strengthening ALM activities and ofoptimization of risk management systems.
Context
As part of its strategy to strengthen its asset-liability management activities, our client is seeking a senior consultant to support the ALM teams, with a strong focus on life insurance activities. The role will involve ALM indicators, strategic asset allocation, the Liquidity Risk Management Plan (LRMP), and the improvement of associated methodologies and tools.
Roles and responsibilities
- Participate in the production of strategic allocations.
- Review the methods and tools for constructing strategic allocations, particularly within the Life insurance scope.
- Carry out financial sensitivity measurements over a one-year horizon within the framework of ORSA.
- Contribute to the production of monthly ALM reports.
- Design and improve the production and control tools for ALM reporting.
- Prepare a draft report in response to the Solvency II review on LRMP (short and long term).
- Audit the SCR Market calculations by asset line.
- Participate in responding to recommendations from the Actuarial Function.
- Evaluate LACDT (recoverability tests) on the Life scope and contribute to the improvement of the methodology.
- To be a driving force in proposing ALM methodologies and evolving practices.
Skills & profile sought
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the following areas ALM
- Solid expertise in Asset-Liability Managementideally in the field ofLife insurance
- Excellent grasp of the issues Solvency II
- Proficient in Python, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, teaching ability, and adaptability
- Proactive and able to develop methodologies
