
Regulatory Reporting & Credit Risk

We are looking for a senior consultant in regulatory / compliance / Wholesale Credit Risk on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a regulatory compliance project.
Context
Our client, a leading banking player, is undertaking a strategic program aimed at strengthening the compliance and traceability of several key regulatory reports, including Large Exposures, EBA Benchmarking and Concentration Risk.
In this context, the Risk team is looking for an experienced professional capable of to manage regulatory workto manage a small team, and to ensure the coordination of internal stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities
- Manage and structure the work related to regulatory traceability for Large Exposures, EBA Benchmarking and Concentration Risk reporting.
- Evaluate the conformity of the existing system: documentation, methods, processes, transposition of regulatory texts into models and calculators.
- To carry out detailed analysis of regulatory texts and ensure their correct interpretation within the teams.
- Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of production controls for regulatory reporting.
- Provide support and guidance on the review of process maps and associated documentation.
- Supervise and support the automation work of EUCs with the aim of improving the reliability of the system.
- To supervise and lead a small operational team.
- Ensure communication with business, risk and regulatory stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the environment banking, regulation or risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations related to Wholesale Credit Risk: Credit Risk, RWA, Capital, IFRS 9.
- Solid experience in implementing new regulations, impact analyses, regulatory reporting or assessment of an existing system.
- Ability to ensure regulatory traceability and to analyze the transcription of texts in models, processes and calculators.
- Excellent communication skills and senior/autonomous demeanor.
- Experience of management of the desired team.
- English essential current (international environment).
