
Accounting Control Consultant
Duration: Approximately 6 months | Start date: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: Based on experience
We are looking for a consultant Accounting Control on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a project to strengthen accounting control teams.
Context
As part of the preparation and execution of the 2025 financial year-end, our client – a major player in the banking sector – wishes to strengthen its teams in Accounting control, Level 1 groupThe consultant will intervene by operational support to support the teams in the execution of closing procedures and analysis of accounts.
Roles and responsibilities
The consultant will focus in particular on:
- Operational support to the Group's accounting control teams during the closing process.
- The execution and review of level 1 controls.
- Analysis of discrepancies, justification of accounts and verification of the consistency of accounting data.
- Monitoring identified anomalies, coordinating corrective actions and associated communication.
- Exchanges with the various entities and internal stakeholders involved in the closing process.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting controlconsolidation or similar functions in a banking or financial environment.
- Excellent understanding of closing processes and applicable accounting standards.
- Ability to analyze, identify and correct accounting anomalies.
- Rigour, autonomy and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a demanding environment with tight deadlines.
