Senior Tax Consultant – Bank

Duration: 12 months (6 months renewable) | Start: 01/07/2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max €550

We are looking for a tax consultant with accounting training to join the tax team of one of our banking clients based in Paris. This team, attached to the Finance Department, is currently made up of 4 people and works on a wide range of tax matters: national taxation, international taxation, VAT, reorganizations, regulatory compliance (Pillar 2, e-invoicing, etc.).

Roles and responsibilities
The consultant will provide operational assistance on the following missions:

• National taxation:
  • Carrying out tax studies on all taxes and duties (IS, tax integration, interest deductibility).
  • Management of tax declarations: C3S, DEB, 2777, IFU, DAS2.
  • Handling of issues related to VAT, CET, payroll tax, vacant housing, registration fees.
  • Use of accounting files for calculating, reporting and paying taxes.
  • Impact study and support for the implementation of e-invoicing and e-reporting obligations.
  • Tax advice on specific transactions (leasing, project financing).
  • Drafting and monitoring of contentious claims.
  • Participation in tax audits and exchanges with the administration.
• Cross-curricular topics:
  • Analysis of the taxation of financial products (national and international).
  • Study of the tax impacts linked to the group's projects (mergers, sales, restructuring, etc.).
  • Continuous regulatory and tax monitoring.

Required Skills

• Higher education in taxation (Master 2, DJCE, CAPA appreciated)
• Proven experience (5 to 7 years minimum) in similar roles, ideally in a banking environment
• Solid knowledge of French taxation, with an appetite for international subjects
• Good understanding of accounting
• Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness
• Excellent writing and analytical skills

Daily rate: €550 excluding VAT/day max.
