Senior IT Project Manager – Redesign of an Employee Portal (Banking Sector)

Duration: 18 to 24 months | Start date: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max €750

We are looking for a senior IT project manager consultant for one of our clients in the banking sector for a project to redesign an employee portal.

Context

The client is undertaking a major project to redesign a centralized employee portal used by several hundred internal users. This project follows on from an initial phase already underway and will cover the management of the following stages: integration of new functionalities, multiple interfaces, data improvement, and coordination of phased deliveries.

Roles and responsibilities

• Manage the project in its planning, budget, risk, quality and governance dimensions.
• Facilitate the bodies (Steering Committee, Project Committee), coordinate internal and external teams, and manage dependencies.
• Supervise agile work on the portal and V-cycle work related to attached services.
• Contribute to the functional and technical design (architecture, flows, APIs, integrations).
• Organize cross-functional deliveries and receipts, in coordination with the integrator and the business units.
• Represent the project to stakeholders and ensure regular reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in management of complex IT projects and transverse.
• Solid experience in agility (scrum) and in V-cycle management.
• Experience banking sector and projects user portals appreciated.
• Expertise in budget management, multi-stakeholder coordination and committee facilitation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, leadership, organizational skills and ability to unite people.

• Location: Paris, presence recommended. Remote work possible up to 3 days/week.

• Duration: 18 to 24 months.
