Senior IT Project Manager Consultant / Product Owner

Duration: 18 to 24 months | Start date: ASAP | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max €750

We are looking for a consultant IT Project Manager Senior consultant working on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a large-scale employee portal redesign project technical-functional.

Context

Our client is undertaking a modernization program for its Operations Information System. As part of this program, an employee portal is being redesigned to offer a unified, user-friendly interface connected to numerous business applications via APIs.

The project is entering a structuring phase involving the addition of new modules (alerts via Kafka, new portfolio views), the integration of several source systems, and the orchestration of successive releases. The consultant will be responsible for the overall management and technical-functional coordination of the project.

Roles and responsibilities

• Managing the project (planning, budget, risks, trade-offs, governance).
• Coordinate all teams: IT, business, project management assistance, architects, integrator, UX, production.
• Organize work in hybrid mode (Agile Scrum + V-cycle depending on the scope).
• Prepare and lead steering committees (Steering Committee, Project Committee, architecture committees).
• Orchestrate deliveries, dependencies, adhesions and cross-functional revenue.
• Contribute to the technical and functional design: APIs, Kafka, flows, application architecture.
• To assume the role of technical PO / Scrum master on certain ceremonies.
• Supporting the team through the testing, production deployment and change management phases.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in management of complex IT projects and transverse.
• IT++ profile, technical and functional, very good understanding of architectures And integrations.
• Technical skills: API, Kafka, flows, distributed architecture.
• Experience in hybrid methodologies (Scrum + V-model).
• Excellent leadership, communication and ability to unite people.
• Proficiency in budget management and multi-stakeholder management.
