
IT Project Manager – Front-to-Back Decommissioning (Trading Floor)

We are looking for a IT Project Manager – Front-to-Back Decommissioning on behalf of one of our banking clients as part of a project to transfer a trading room and decommission a trading platform.
Context
As part of the transfer of a European trading floor to France, our client is conducting a massive decommissioning program of trading applications, covering the entire FO–MO–BO–Finance–Risk–Regulatory chain.
We are looking for an expert capable of leading this project and challenging the local teams involved.
Roles and responsibilities
- Manage the IT decommissioning process from front to back and define the strategy.
- Coordinate the relevant IT and business teams.
- Managing technical, regulatory and operational dependencies.
- Oversee the removal of applications, interfaces, and associated data.
- Challenge the teams from the country of origin and guarantee the quality of the deliverables.
- Provide structured reporting to the governing body.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in banking IT project management, ideally in trading floor.
- Proven expertise in decommissioning Front-to-Back application.
- Knowledge of trading systems (Murex, Calypso, Summit or equivalents).
- Excellent multi-team coordination and management skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Sense of confidentiality.
