Business Project Manager / Senior Business Analyst – Collateral Derivatives & Repos (Bank)

Duration: 12 months (6 months renewable) | Start: June 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: max €680

We are looking for two consultants Business project manager and/or senior business analyst, having a strong functional and operational expertise on collateral management, on behalf of one of our banking clients based in Paris.

Context
As part of a strategic project to describe collateral contracts on derivatives and repos, our client – a major player in the banking sector – is continuing to develop an internal tool dedicated to the detailed management of links between deals, contracts and discount curves.
After a successful initial implementation phase, two consultants must be mobilized to continue the functional and technical developments of the system, in particular on:

• Connection with other internal systems,
• The simulation capacity,
• Managing the complexities associated with XVA (positive vs negative profiles),
• Interconnection via API,
• Integrating repos into the same application environment.

Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for two independent consultants with strong functional and operational expertise in collateral management, capable of quickly integrating into a business/IT project team:

• Collection and formalization of functional needs,
• Specification writing (EDB),
• Management and monitoring of the acceptance phases,
• Coordination with IT teams (framing, prioritization, technical/functional arbitrations),
• Monitoring of planning, reporting of points of attention and preparation of decision elements.

Required Skills

• Very good knowledge of the processes of collateral management (derivatives, rest),
• Proven experience as a business analyst or business project manager in the banking sector,
• Ability to interact effectively with IT teams and drive progress,
• Good understanding of the issues related to discounting, XVA and interface/API issues,
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken,
• Autonomy, rigor, spirit of initiative.

Location: Paris (on-site presence required, teleworking possible depending on internal organization)
Start: June 2025
Duration: 6 months (renewable)
Daily rate: €680 max. depending on profile
