Senior Banking Accounting Consultant

 <\/p>\nWe are looking for a Senior Bank Accounting Consultant for one of our banking clients as part of a project to strengthening of closing, consolidation and regulatory reporting activities.<\/strong>\n

 <\/p>\n

Context<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of a temporary reinforcement of its Finance teams, our client is seeking a senior consultant capable of working independently on closing and consolidation tasks. The role involves ensuring the accurate production of year-end financial and regulatory statements within a demanding and confidential banking environment. The consultant must be able to quickly become operational and handle critical matters with limited supervision.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Roles and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Produce the consolidation work for the month of September.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in accounting closings according to IFRS standards.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and remove blocking controls impacting financial production.<\/li>\n
  • Perform intra-group reconciliations.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to the production and control of FINREP and COREP regulatory reports.<\/li>\n
  • To ensure day-to-day operations (BAU) within the Accounting & Consolidation scope.<\/li>\n
  • To ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of financial data.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborating with the Accounting, Consolidation and Regulatory Reporting teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Ideally, you have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • More than 8 to 10 years of experience in bank accounting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience in fences<\/strong> and of the consolidation<\/strong> in banking environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Mastery of standards IFRS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent knowledge of prudential reporting FINREP<\/strong> And COREP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Solid experience in intra-group reconciliations and accounting controls.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to intervene quickly and independently on critical issues.<\/li>\n
    • Recent experience within a bank or financial group is a plus.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in regulatory productions under tight deadlines is also appreciated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
