Financial control and regulatory reporting \u2013 Banking sector<\/h2>\n

Duration: 10 months | Start: 01\/09\/25 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: \u20ac850 max<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are looking for a senior consultant<\/strong> in financial control and regulatory reporting<\/strong> on behalf of one of our banking sector clients based in Paris, as part of a project to strengthen the capacities of its financial department.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n\ud83c\udfaf Mission context<\/strong>
\nAs part of a temporary reinforcement, our client wishes to support its financial department with closing, reporting and control work in a demanding banking environment.\n

 <\/p>\n\ud83d\udee0 Roles and responsibilities<\/strong>
\nThe consultant will support internal teams across a broad functional scope, including in particular:\n

    \n
  • Second-level accounting, tax and regulatory controls.<\/li>\n
  • Annual and half-yearly closing work, as well as the production of financial analyses.<\/li>\n
  • Production of reports for partners (EDFI, EU, etc.).<\/li>\n
  • Participation in cross-functional projects (IS developments, improvement of control tools, automation of reporting).<\/li>\n
  • Contribution to the drafting of financial notes (e.g. new products).<\/li>\n
  • The formalization and updating of internal procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Participation in internal training (support, e-learning).<\/li>\n
  • The consultant will be fully integrated into the division and will participate in the collective dynamics of the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \ud83c\udf93 Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Higher education in accounting, finance or auditing.<\/li>\n
    • Minimum 15 years of experience, including a significant portion in financial or banking environments.<\/li>\n
    • Very good knowledge of IFRS standards and banking regulations.<\/li>\n
    • Solid experience in financial control, closings and reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Comfortable with office and IT tools (Excel, ERP, reporting tools).<\/li>\n
    • Autonomy, rigor, analytical mind, good writing skills.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to interact with numerous internal contacts.<\/li>\n
    • Fluency in written and spoken French (mandatory).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \nLocation: Paris (in-person required, a few days of teleworking possible)
