Senior Consultant \u2013 Accounting Control and Closing \u2013 Market Products (Banking)<\/h2>\n

We are looking for a senior consultant in accounting control specializing in market products<\/strong> on behalf of one of our clients in the banking sector, as part of an operational reinforcement project related to accounting closing and consolidation work.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\nContext<\/strong>
\nIn a structured and standardized environment, the mission aims to strengthen the accounting teams in the context of closing procedures and the production of financial statements, as well as to contribute to data reliability and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. The consultant will also be involved in functional testing related to an accounting transformation project.\n

 <\/p>\n

Roles and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participate in closing work, including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Production and recording of data relating to the neutralization of internal transfers<\/li>\n
  • The preparation of and contribution to the annual report<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring the reliability of accounting data in accordance with French standards<\/li>\n
  • Conduct second-level checks as part of the closure process<\/li>\n
  • Conduct detailed analyses of the entity's performance<\/li>\n
  • Respond to requests from auditors and internal controllers<\/li>\n
  • Participate in the preparation of consolidation packages in accordance with French standards.<\/li>\n
  • Create data sets from the accounting system and\/or management files<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to the testing\/acceptance phases within the framework of the current project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Documented closing files and second level controls<\/li>\n
    • Supporting analyses of balances and results<\/li>\n
    • Complete and compliant consolidation bundles<\/li>\n
    • Contributions to user tests with associated reports<\/li>\n
    • Participation in the annual report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in first level accounting control on market products<\/strong> : rates, exchange, securities, derivatives, repos\/reverse, etc.<\/li>\n
      • Mastery of French accounting standards<\/strong> applicable to credit institutions<\/li>\n
      • Good knowledge of market operations<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of office tools (Excel in particular) and ability to manage a large volume of data<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of SAP FC appreciated<\/li>\n
      • Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of respect for deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
