Duration:<\/strong> 3 months | Start Date:<\/strong> Immediate | Rental:<\/strong> Riyadh | Daily Rate:<\/strong> based on experience<\/h2>\nWe are looking for 1 experienced Freelancer Test Strategy Lead<\/strong> to support a key client in Riyadh, helping to define and implement a fit-for-purpose testing strategy and automation setup. The role requires deep expertise in test strategy, automation tools, and tailoring testing approaches to project needs.\nObjectives<\/strong>\n

  • Define a comprehensive and scalable test strategy<\/li>\n
  • Set up a modern test automation framework<\/li>\n
  • Right-size testing efforts across projects and teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nRoles and Responsibilities<\/strong>\nTest Strategy & Framework Design<\/strong>\n

    • Conduct assessment of current testing maturity and tools<\/li>\n
    • Design an end-to-end test strategy, covering manual, automated, and integration testing<\/li>\n
    • Define test governance, metrics, and reporting structure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nAutomation & Optimization<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Establish a reusable automation framework (eg, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent)<\/li>\n
      • Integrate automation into CI\/CD pipelines<\/li>\n
      • Identify optimization opportunities and reduce redundant test efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nKnowledge Transfer & Collaboration<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams<\/li>\n
        • Provide coaching and handover of framework\/tools to internal staff<\/li>\n
        • Document best practices and testing playbooks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDeliverables<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Test Strategy Document<\/li>\n
          • Test Automation Framework Blueprint<\/li>\n
          • Optimization Plan and Right-Sizing Recommendations<\/li>\n
          • Handover Kit and Training Sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nRequired Skills<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • 8+ years experience in QA\/Test Leadership roles<\/li>\n
            • Proven track record in defining test strategies for complex programs<\/li>\n
            • Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and frameworks<\/li>\n
            • Strong understanding of CI\/CD and DevOps testing integration<\/li>\n
            • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills<\/li>\n
            • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus<\/li>\n
