We are looking for an experienced a freelance IT Delivery Leader & PMO<\/strong> to support our client, a leading fintech company, in executing its wealth management transformation project. The role involves overseeing project governance, managing delivery timelines, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.<\/p>\n

The end client is a fintech organization focused on innovation in wealth management. The IT Delivery Leader & PMO will play a key role in ensuring project success through structured governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.<\/p>\n

The mission is to drive efficient project execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the client's digital transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

IT Delivery Leadership & Execution<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure adherence to agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks to ensure seamless execution.<\/li>\n
  • Provide reporting and visibility into project status, milestones, and roadblocks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    PMO Governance & Strategy<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Establish and enforce project governance frameworks for structured delivery.<\/li>\n
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting structures for the project.<\/li>\n
    • Drive project prioritization and alignment with organizational goals.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Stakeholder Management & Coordination<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Act as a bridge between business, IT, and regulatory teams, ensuring alignment of project goals.<\/li>\n
      • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to drive process improvements.<\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure smooth project delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Risk & Compliance Management<\/strong><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • Ensure that all project-related activities comply with regulatory standards in financial services.<\/li>\n
        • Support impact assessments for regulatory changes and compliance updates.<\/li>\n
        • Maintain structured issue-tracking and escalation mechanisms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Testing & Implementation Support<\/strong><\/h4>\n
            \n
          • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet business needs.<\/li>\n
          • Define test cases and validate project workflows.<\/li>\n
          • Provide post-implementation support and help resolve any issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Deliverables:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            • Project Delivery Roadmap:<\/strong> A comprehensive plan with key milestones.<\/li>\n
            • Governance Framework:<\/strong> Documentation outlining governance best practices and compliance measures.<\/li>\n
            • Project Status Reports:<\/strong> Regular reports detailing progress, risks, and actions.<\/li>\n
            • Risk & Issue Logs:<\/strong> Ongoing tracking of project risks and mitigation strategies.<\/li>\n
            • Stakeholder Engagement Plan:<\/strong> A strategy for effective communication and collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Required Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                \n
              • \nExperience in the region is mandatory, with a strong understanding of local business landscapes.\n<\/li>\n
              • 10+ years<\/strong> of experience as an IT Delivery Leader or PMO in fintech, banking, or wealth management.<\/li>\n
              • Strong understanding of wealth management processes, fintech platforms, and digital transformation.<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • Experience leading large-scale IT projects<\/strong> with agile and waterfall methodologies.<\/li>\n
              • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks<\/strong> applicable to financial services.<\/li>\n
              • Excellent stakeholder engagement & communication skills.<\/li>\n
              • Strong analytical skills & ability to work in agile environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
