Analytical Accounting and Cost Modeling Consultant (M\/F)<\/h2>\n

Duration: 5 months | Start: February 2025 | Location: Paris | Daily rate: according to profiles<\/p>\n

We are looking for a consultant in Analytical Accounting and Cost Modeling<\/strong> to support one of our banking clients in the rationalization of its Activity-Based Costing (ABC) model and improvement of calculation, re-invoicing and reporting processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our client is undertaking a project to simplify and optimize its Activity-Based Costing (ABC) model, based on the ABC (Activity Based Costing) method. This model, currently in place, calculates the full costs of activities and businesses, but requires an overhaul to improve efficiency and meet new organizational needs.<\/p>\n

Roles and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The consultant will work on the following areas:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Diagnosis and critical analysis:
    \nAudit the current CPA model (processes, costs, drivers).
    \nIdentify strengths, limitations, inefficiencies and redundancies.<\/li>\n
  2. Proposal of a simplified model:
    \nDevelop simplification and optimization scenarios.
    \nHarmonize management rules and define standard costs.
    \nAutomate repetitive steps and create standardized reports<\/li>\n
  3. Optimization of re-invoicing processes:
    \nClarify audit elements and improve the transparency of re-invoicing.
    \nDevelop an explicit operating procedure for re-invoiced entities.<\/li>\n
  4. Training and restitution:
    \nProvide training workshops for users on the new model and tools.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Expected deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Complete diagnostics of the current model (detailed reports and diagrams).<\/li>\n
    • Simplification scenarios and critical analyses.<\/li>\n
    • Standardized cost models with clear audit trails.<\/li>\n
    • Optimized reporting formats in Power BI.<\/li>\n
    • How the re-invoicing processes work.<\/li>\n
    • Team training and associated documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Minimum 10 years' experience in management control, cost analysis and modeling.<\/li>\n
      • Expertise in re-invoicing management and analytical accounting.<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in Power BI tools and ABC methodologies.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to propose pragmatic solutions adapted to strategic issues.<\/li>\n
      • Excellent communication and training skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
