COO Consultant \u2013 Private Equity Investment Fund<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Duration: 6 months | Start Date: ASAP | Location: Dubai, UAE (Frequent Travel to KSA) | Daily Rate: AED 3700<\/p>\n

We are looking for an experienced Interim COO<\/strong> to support our client, a leading investment fund with a proprietary portfolio<\/strong>, operating in a private equity (PE)-style structure. The role involves harmonizing operations, aligning governance frameworks, and optimizing reporting structures across portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiencies, and ensure seamless execution of business objectives.<\/p>\n

The end client is a private investment fund<\/strong> managing a diverse proprietary portfolio. To enhance operational alignment and governance across its portfolio companies, the Interim COO will play a key role in strategy execution<\/strong>, organizational restructuring<\/strong>, and operational oversight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The mission is to ensure business continuity<\/strong>, risk mitigation<\/strong>, and operational scalability<\/strong>, supporting the fund's expansion across the UAE and KSA.<\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Strategic Leadership<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to define and implement business strategies, operational plans, and performance metrics.<\/li>\n
    • Lead organizational alignment initiatives to harmonize operations, governance, and reporting structures across portfolio companies.<\/li>\n
    • Drive efficiency, scalability, and strategic execution, ensuring operational resilience and business continuity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Operational Oversight<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Oversee investment operations, ensuring efficient trade execution, portfolio reporting, and back-office processes.<\/li>\n
      • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to optimize efficiency and compliance.<\/li>\n
      • Monitor and analyze operational performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.<\/li>\n
      • Serve as a bridge between executive leadership and operational teams, ensuring seamless execution of strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Financial & Risk Management<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Work closely with the CFO to oversee budgeting, financial planning, and expense management.<\/li>\n
        • Collaborate with the CRO to identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring robust risk management frameworks and business continuity plans.<\/li>\n
        • Manage vendor and third-party relationships, ensuring cost-effective and reliable services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

            Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Extensive experience in executive leadership, preferably as a COO in investment funds, private equity, or portfolio management.<\/li>\n
            • Strong expertise in strategy execution, governance, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n
            • Proven ability to drive organizational change, process optimization, and risk management.<\/li>\n
            • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work with senior executives and investment teams.<\/li>\n
            • Financial acumen and experience working closely with CFOs and risk teams to align operational and financial objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
