We are looking for a freelance consultant to support our banking client based in Paris.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\nAssignment<\/strong>
\nThe consultant will provide support to the Compliance teams for a period of 1 year, acting as a Compliance advisor.\n

 <\/p>\n

Mission Roles<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Monitor the application of standards in specific files and geographic areas.<\/li>\n
  • Carry out a second level control on the information and documents collected by operational services.<\/li>\n
  • Check the existence and application of procedures in financial institutions.<\/li>\n
  • Analyze the notes presented to the committees for the drafting of notices of conformity.<\/li>\n
  • Examine atypical transactions and monitor the detection of suspicious transactions.<\/li>\n
  • Establish analysis and summary notes of the legislation in force.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure legal monitoring of the principles, standards and rules applicable to the group's activity.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in the definition and application of internal compliance procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Train employees in the group's AML\/CFT risks and procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Update group portfolio KYC records.<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to the improvement of Compliance reporting and statistics tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\nExpected deliverables<\/strong>
    \nThe consultant will have to carry out the following tasks:\n

      \n
    • Drafting of compliance notices.<\/li>\n
    • Ex-post controls of portfolio files and projects.<\/li>\n
    • Participation in cross-functional projects.<\/li>\n
    • Updating portfolio files.<\/li>\n
    • Improvement of Compliance reporting and statistics tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Required Skills <\/strong><\/p>\n

      We are looking for a consultant with:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Minimum of five (5) years of compliance experience in the banking-finance sector.<\/li>\n
      • Minimum 5 years of experience on missions relating to banking and financial compliance risks, in particular the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.<\/li>\n
      • Good command of AML\/CFT regulations.<\/li>\n
      • Global view of compliance risks.<\/li>\n
      • Fluent English.<\/li>\n
      • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \nLocation of the mission: Paris\n
